I got a masters in chemical engineering but the industry died (in Canada) so after a year and a half of being a NEET I ended up getting a job as an underwriting assistant, which was 50k CAD per year (39k USD). I hated that job so much because it was literal data entry in a super high CoL city I quit and now I'm trying for a third degree, this time in compsci.
The company was alright though; they paid for professional certification courses and would promote underwriting assistants to full underwriter within 3-4 years, which would give you an opportunity to then jump ship to a different firm that paid quite a bit more. I just couldn't stand it.

We all went through the same shit. I got up and went to a shit job for years until I had that experience. Best thing you can do is start earning a pay check for your chosen skill. Get in the door then think about salary demands. You are at the start of your career, you will earn more in time. For now learn to be a good saver. That will be worth way more than a good salary. It's unrealistic thinking to want to walk into a top paying job fresh from college.
Also fucking lie. You need two years experience? Turn that 1 months work experience you did into 6, make up another job. 90% of the workforce are incompetent NPCs. It's easy as fuck to get away with.
>>28896654
Pick your battles. You are simply cucking yourself by thinking you are too good for a low starting salary. Look how many people get degrees and never use them. Get in that door first.

I get paid $26,000 annually and have a crypto portfolio worth $38,000 rn. Just be smart.
I'm a college grad as well. I couldn't find a higher wage job when I graduated and now I have this and crypto I've stopped looking or caring about finding one.
A higher wage job means more hours and more stress and more needing to kiss ass. I work 30 hrs a week (finish at 3pm each day), am on autopilot 100% of the time, and I don't have to be nice to my boss because I don't like him and I don't care about promotions. I'm literally a chad at work who says whatever the fuck he wants to anyone (I'm close to red-pilling a couple co-workers on the Jews, already red-pilled some on globalism and Trump being good), tells his boss when he needs to leave early (not asks), and spend most of the day checking my crypto, texting friends, listening to music. No pressure, no care in the world, all the free time in the world. and I still make good money off crypto. Just be smart.

I went to college. A pretty respected one as well. Trust me, it is just a piece of paper (maybe unless you do STEM at a good uni). I was no more employable after graduating than I was before (actually I was probably more employable before because in my country there are schemes for 18 y/o NEETs and companies get subsidized to hire them that don't exist for 20-something yr old grads).
College was just about worth it for the drugs, lifestyle and supply of pussy. But a degree is worthless nowadays unless it's something autistic like maths or engineering.

I would be lucky to receive 60k from a job ever in my lifetime all because nobody cares about natural resources. They don't care about growing wood, they don't care about any of that, all they care about a whether their apple watch is working, and whether the computer down the hall needs to be rebooted.
