I want to mine this coin. What is the best software/hardware to use?

Ain't worth it. Mine ETH and convert to monero. Pretty much the only good thing about ETH.

>>28784289 Answer me: if you spend $1500 on mining hardware, roughly how much monero would you make monthly? If the answer is less than 2, then it is not profitable. If you spend $1500 on hardware for mining ETH, you can gain .25 ETH per month, which you can then sell and buy 2 XMR at current prices.

I mine monero speculatively. I think mining helps give you perspective on just how difficult it is to actually produce coins and will help inform your trading decisions. I mine with about 35KH of power. Sometimes I bump it up to about 45KH. I think it's worth doing for the knowledge and the clarity it gives you. If you can just break even at current prices I still think you should. This coin is going to $500 absolute minimum in the short term and probably way higher long term. Also, you were supposed to be mining this BEFORE it spiked in price. If you do start mining it don't be a retard and forget to keep mining.
