VET is the most no-brainer long term investment in the crypto space. Anyone who's worked or studied supply chain understands how important it is to track the supply line. Vechain's early focus was on designer goods and fine wine (CEO Sunny Lu was the former CIO of Louis Vuitton China and left his position to develop the platform). The value of high priced goods lies in the legitimacy of the product, and a blockchain trail can verify that product's legitimacy every step of the way until it reaches the customer. Now think about grocery stores and how many recalls there are on tainted products (700+ recalls per year in the US). Throw a blockchain tracked QR code on every shipment of goods and you can weed out the tarnished product immediately and save capital. And as soon as BaaS is adopted by one business, competition in the same domain HAVE TO adopt, otherwise they lack the same security and lose profit+trust. Walmart China has indirectly been buying VTHO for years to use as gas prices on the network through Toolchain. Any client onboarded through Toolchain is a part of the Vechain ecosystem, whether they understand it or not. As corporate adoption increases, retail investors (that's us) get gains out the fucking ass because we own all the VET (gas stations) that these businesses need to buy VTHO from to run their operation. And honestly fuck the pump that's going on right now, because this is a loooong term hold. With all crypto there's a lot of minutia and uncertainty, but if this shit actually pans out the way it's designed, then you are 100% guaranteed to make it and much much more. https://dailyhodl.com/2021/01/31/co inbase-exploring-support-for-44-new -assets-across-trading-and-custody- platforms/ >inb4 Chink scam. >>28728099 >>28728033 >I'm a math guy. Let's say a newfag did drop $5,400 (a number most won't be able to commit to, but a decently "exaggerated" chunk to show how even this amount doesn't have legs) and got 100,000 tokens. In the year or two that VET takes to reach 10 cents, you will more than likely double your money to $10,800 (remember the ridiculous circulating supply and max supply stifling growth). >Now imagine you bought 186 Polkadot instead ($5,400 divided by $28.97 at this point in time), DOT will more than likely be triple digits (let's say minimum triple digits at $100) end of year if not much sooner that because it is addressing a critical problem Ethereum is having. >The calculation would look like this: 186 DOT x $100 = 18,600. Imagine being so blinded by VET that you miss out on something that has a much higher ceiling. VET naturally attracts n00bs. I'm sorry, but it's the truth. The buy in is too HIGH and the return TOO LOW. Use your own brain and don't buy bagholders 2017 vaporware. Other suggestions include: AVAX, Solana, ATOM, SNX. Radix. I truly think any of ETH's competitors will be like Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Mountain do. Pick your flavor.

>>28726320 If you want boomer tier gains, in the best of best case scenarios, by all means buy VEN/VET. Real world use does not equate to financial gain for token holders. The selling points of VET are the exact same as they were in 2017/early 2018, and there’s an army of bag holders ready and waiting to dump at every new price point. It’s not a chink scam in the true sense of the word, but it’s not going to make you filthy fucking rich and it sure as shit won’t make you good money in comparison to hundreds of other coins in a bull market. VEN/VET is a cult at this point, much like another rebbit coin— XRB/NANO. There are worse places you could park your money, but there are also many other better places.

What ruins it more is how high the market cap would have to soar to get decent price movement due to the 64/84b supply. I could see this working for something like pharmaceutical supply chain where drugs need to be recalled, but what's up with this? What happened to Bayer? If you make announcements, you need to follow through on them and not hide them in the shadows. It just seems like nothing significant is going on worth mentioning.
