>>28613577 hey anon, could you do me a favor and up the numbers on the right side? Tell me what the sum of those numbers is quick

2 hours later 28613922 Anonymous
>>28613692 Yeah it's a big number so what, they are saying they will have given out a cumulative 21,850,000 algos in a few months or whatever. This still doesn't explain what they are gonna do when they have released all the algos.

2 hours later 28614021 Anonymous
>>28613922 Anon, the point is that under the current rate of token release (which you should be able to do the math for), they won't run out of tokens until 2030, and by then tokenomics will probably change slightly in order to accommodate shrinking supply. FYI fixed supply is a good thing under the assumption that Algo gets adoption

2 hours later 28614293 Anonymous
>>28614193 Because it's an appreciative asset? Why would you hold onto Etherium? Also I'm pretty sure the tokenomics account for the fact that supply will run out eventually, and governance will be shifted to accommodate.

2 hours later 28614573 Anonymous
>>28614293 I wouldn't hold ethereum personally because they refuse to pay interest. I don't get your argument, the only reason people want to hold algo is to "use it as a second bank account" because of the interest. Without that what's gonna be the appeal, the fact that the founder won a prize named after some old dead gay guy? Because there are gidgets and goobers built on its Blockchain? Because tether (I also wouldn't hold this, totally don't get the point of this) is built on it? I just don't get it

ALGO can do transactions in 4.5 seconds flat and for next to nothing in fee's. Even if every single coin were released today instead of over 10 years with the bitcoin MCAP each one would be worth 64 dollars. If we hit bitcoin MCAP in a year or two your talking hundreds per coin.
