I think it's real. Has good fundamentals and supposedly no competition. Literally being used by uniswap and coin gecko from what I've heard, which are themselves fairly legit AFAIK. But right now it's still in the throws of whatever's been happening the past few days. Personally intending to wait and see where the bottom is, then going back in on a comfy hold

I'm a true baglet at this point with only 35 GRT because I stupidly traded my free coinbase GRT for BTC and just recently actually read into it and the quizzes. From what I understand of it, it has potential to be a crucial piece of how blockchain tech works going into the next iteration of the web, because it offers an indexing service that makes it easy to search for queries on the blockchain without having to spend extra money and time to download and process many TBs of data quickly. Essentially it has promise because moving forward, Ethereum tech on the blockchain will be able to use the Graph to offer quick and easy sorting and access to information stored on the blockchain itself at a much cheaper rate than manually doing it oneself. Basically it's the best and easiest solution to an existing problem rather than a novel idea looking for a problem to solve.

I've made over $200 at time of quizzes and significantly more by converting and hodling what I earned to btc, just doing dumb quizzes and sending referrals to dummy accounts I paid $10 to a couple friends to help set up using their own IDs. Plus it has significantly lower trading fees and withdrawal fees than other exchanges such as binance or kraken. It does have more limited options and not as great a selection of altcoins but hey, even if GRT drops to zero I'm still not technically at a loss because everything I put toward it was gains from CB.

Basically for verified profiles that the user has submitted KYC info for, Coinbase offers what they call "Earn" opportunities over time. Not all of them that have been made available are still available as some coins exhausted the supply, and some activities that paid out such as the $10 for setting up CB wallet on your phone and learning about staking eth are no longer available. But they are constantly adding new stuff and some of the coins like XLM come with referral opportunities (DON'T post them here it will get you b& but there are places online to post them). Anywho you basically do the quizzes when they're made available to you and you earn anywhere between $3 to $19 in crypto per quiz set then potentially another $40 for the ones that have referral systems. I got in too late for some of the crypto offerings but the ones I got in on I quickly converted to btc which has given me a nice range of 2x-5x gains over time since I started doing these things back in 2019.

You'd want to take the tax rate into consideration, tax brackets, maybe even think about moving somewhere else where its more favourable, even if its just another state/province. How much do you want to pull out at once too, perhaps you want to keep a heavy foothold in crypto, perhaps you want to diversify into a lot of "safe" investments with your bank, etc.
There's a lot to figure out, and the tax man (and the various ways to dodge the tax man) are requirements.

Computer, furniture, a portion of the power/heating bill for the house, etc, all business expenses taken out before taxes are calculated.
