That's a genuine question, not fud, I have eth. People say the fees are terrible but maybe it's what propels the price up further and further.

It's literally the only network that does anything productive on a large scale. It's literally the future of finance. Ether is the gas that fuels the ethereum virtual machine aka world computer.

Gas fees unironically help ETH's price. You need ETH for your shitcoins and you need more ETH for transaction fees to get said shitcoins so you need to buy more ETH to spend the ETH you already have.

the answer is no. demand on the network is causing the fees and price to increase. gas stays the same in terms of ETH (for example, if you needed .01 eth to make a transaction in 2019, you still need .01 eth to make it in 2021). however with more people wanting to interact with Ethereum, more people are buying ETH, causing the price of ETH to rise, making that .01 cost more. and then gas could then go up as well because the network gets busier and busier the more popular it gets

ETH is low risk, medium reward. You can fomo into other alts but I doubt many of them will maintain their momentum for long, if not outright crash since so many of them are either beta products or literally just a promise of a working product.

Can you still not see why this pump is dead? No one wants to hold eth anymore with these endlessly rising gas fees. Don't even kid yourself with eth2. No one has the patience to wait for a fix several years down the line with no guarantees.

Of course they would. The new CME futures contract makes it all the more bountiful.
Remember 2018?
Good news is we can dip that low and remain bullish. We haven't tested the 20 week EMA since september.
