Am I the only one who thinks it’s not worth it if you have to do all this gay shit every waking hour while living on poverty wages just to save up a million dollars?
I think I’ll take my chances with the imaginary digital bing bong coins that I learned about through this Uzbek donkey milking forum

There are 2x+ opportunities literally every month. It's up to you to separate the real stuff from the bullshit.

I knew a guy who had a deal with a janitor at some corporate office. Basically he got hired there as a janitor but never actually showed up to work. Instead the other guy who would actually go and clean got like 1/2 of his paycheck and would just scan his card on the card reader to clock in for him every day. Was making like ~30k a year and I don't think they ever caught him.

I weasled my way into a home with a few grand saved up. Borrowed against it then bought a really nice car which I then let an illegal drive under my name for UBER for 50% of the income. I rent out the house to his family as well and I just live in an extra room for free.
I like the noise and people around me, don't have to work at all, and just trade all day.

Your great grandparents and grandparents were self employed and had side hustles. Didn’t matter if it was picking up junk from the scrapyard, they found a niche and did it. I wouldn't bother buying a house because I think there's way better performing assets right now but I don't see anything wrong with staying home and working a little longer so you can put your money to use, get a promotion, and then afford to do your own thing.
Alternatively, if you're young but disciplined and responsible just buy a place and rent out all the rooms to your friends who will need a place too. Only thing is you need to be disciplined because being a landlord can be a conflict of interest with being a friend sometimes

Real estate is a bad asset because it's in a fucking bubble. I was looking up houses in bumfuck, kentucky and they're appreciating 10% a year for no discernible reason other than every other piece of residential real estate is appreciating.
Who is buying? Chinese aren't allowed in right now. So no one is buying but the price is going up because of speculation, which means you buy a house that's doubled from 100k to 200k in 5 years and then when the bubble pops suddenly you're holding the bag for something that reverted to 100k in value.

The point of bubbles is that if you know it's a bubble you want to avoid sinking all your money in in a way you can't get out. The only reason anyone can justify buying right now into crypto/stocks is because the stimulus package will kick the can down the road a little. There is no reason to buy real estate right now because you can just wait for the real estate bubble to pop and get it cheaper.

Literally the only two ways I can see this working is if you start with tons of money saved at 18, or if you're able to invest 40k+ a year at 8%.

You're not gonna get anywhere with your $100 stacks of link/rubic/burgercoin. Life is tough and the only way to get around that is by literally jewing out everyone else.
Get a shit job and then upskill, get paid more and develop yourself enough to become reputable where you can actually sell yourself as a brand for $$$$.

People are buying crypto/stocks because we're moving into an asset based economy, the same reasons people would be buying real estate, it won't get cheaper unless theres a massive flood of inventory (i.e 2008-2009), and thats not happening any time soon, especially with a bunch of people just like you waiting for prices to drop so they can buy, ironically keeping the prices up by being in demand for a house, eating up properties as soon as they dip 5-10 percent. As income inequality increases, you would do better off to buy a property now, you'll win in the long run, and most likely in the short run too.
