If this isn't "new paradigm" right now, I don't know what is. This feels even worse than 2017. Like, Jesus Christ, I have never seen so many delusional "this time it's different" and "parabolic" posts in my life.

I know too many normies who are sorta kinda interested in it but havne't bought yet. The FOMO they are feeling is brewing and when it fully boils over we will see some absolute shit. Still early in this cycle... No way Tesla buys 1.5B BTC avg price 35k without an absolutely retarded explosion afterward

Getting 2017 vibes now that a shitton of celebrities are hoping onto the train. Also have quite a few normie friends who are asking me about it now. I don't know, when most of the hype is fueled by Elon Musk tweets and Lindsay Lohan, I can't say I feel confident. I just exited into fiat for now and will see if I can buy a dip. Maybe I'll get burned though, who knows. But I've already pretty much tripled my initial invest in a year and I don't want it to get btfo.

I was here since mid 2017 (I know that's still newfag status), I honestly think we have at least a few more months of bull run left. Obviously public awareness of crypto is much greater this time, which is why I don't think it's as good of a metric anymore. It's not like people suddenly forget in the span of 3 years that bitcoin existed. Once you get to the point of looking at coinmarketcap and think "this is fucking retarded," give it a few more weeks and then consider selling. I don't think we are nearly at that point yet.

See, the difference between Bitcoin and the dotcom bubble is that Bitcoin is useful. You can actually pay your mortgage off with it. There are bitcoin debit cards. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general are here to stay. Why else would huge companies start buying it in droves? Because its about to tank in price? USE YOUR FUCKIN NOODLE

>>28376533 Still early. We probably just exited the bear trap/media attention phase if you go by the BTC chart. Stimmy checks, WSB, normies, hedgies, so much money left to come in before a real rug pull. I had more friends ask about GME than anything about crypto yet. My parents and most of my friends still have shown little interest. Most people and analyst covering think BTC hits 100k+ this year and that was before Square and Paypal started supporting it or before Elon added 1.5billion. Plus people are using it as an inflationary hedge.

>>28381077 It concerns me that so many people are relying on the rainbow chart and RHODL for determining when to exit the market. People are going to try to frontrun each other, that might either kill the cycle early, or actually extend it since it could lead to more steady growth instead of le parabola we usually see.

I've actually never seen rhodl on reddit, and the majority of the sentiment i see surrounding the rainbow is that it looks like a complete joke. >>28381077 These logarithmic models fail after a certain point. For example, it is a lot easier to grow btc from $1 to $2 (low mccap) than from $1Mil to $2Mil. Assets are priced at the amount someone is willing to pay, eventually there won't be enough buyers to maintain the exponential growth implied by this chart.
