They are sitting on the sidelines, uninvested. They don’t want other people to make money, they want to see them fail. Let that sink in. Rather than trying to improve their own situation, they try to drag others down. Avoid these people in life and you will go far.

If the world was full of people like this, we wouldn't have anything. No we're not early in speculative value especially, but little desperate failures like these people will never buy in, they're the kind of small minded bitter "technologists" that would rather dedicate their entire life trying ti dissuade people from something they dislike, than creating anything they approve of. We're very early in actual usage of Bitcoin, because simply it has no reason to be used today other than as a store of value, something it has no competition for. Actual payments are a long ways off down almost entirely to regulatory and tax issues. Besides, who wants to spend Bitcoin when it only goes up?

>>28129527 A lot of people never get over highschool. You see it with guys who were popular in highschool or college and constantly relive their glories even though they're a failure today, and you also see it in nerds who had a terrible time in highschool and constantly take out their resentment on people who remind them of their tormentors from back then. Thats why the hate people who are beautiful or successful or motivated or free in any way. They project their highschool trauma onto you and you become the target of this unresolved resentment. They got good grades, didn't stay out late, didn't drink or party, didn't get laid. They did everything "right" so they are the ones who should be successful not you. They should get the girl not you. Its really that simple. The tweet in OPs post is a prime example of someone filled with resentment with middling intelligence who has not achieved the success they think was promised to them in life. So how awful must it be for him to watch the same jocks and underachievers that tormented him in adolescence lap him over and over again in the real world? Some people learn from this and resolve their issues and face the fact that the things they were taught about how the world works just are not true. But then there are other people like in OP's post who double down on it. They can't take the blow to their ego that would be admitting they were fooled and everything they've committed their life to was wrong. All people liek this have to prop up their ego is the idea that they're smart, that they got better grades than you, that they did everything they were supposed to do and eventually they'll win out and you will lose it all because your victories were just flukes and not the result of a more accurate view of the world.
