I think another good point is that the ethical and open source dogecoin software actually has a few features instead of a LOT of features.
You can kind of explain bitcoin to a normie, maybe bitcoin cash, but that is VERY hard and don't even bother with etherium. I'm actually a programmer and I can barely wrap my head around etherium.
But doge is based on a the source code of a dead coin that was based on the source code of Litecoin. And litecoin was made for blocks to form a little bit faster than bitcoin.
Dogecoin has some improvements towards spend-ability and speed, which make it better for a normie to actually use, and it's memorable because it's mascot is a meme animal from like 2014.
99.99% people don't care about software, only what they can do with it. Dogecoin isn't trying to be a "world computer" or whatever like etherium is. You just spend it. It's good for quick and small purchases. When you walk up to a vending machine and buy a bottle of water out of it, you just what the money to work so you get your water and can walk away. You don't care about the money itself, you just want it to spend so you can get your fucking water and keep working. That's it.
