Let's say you've made it and you want to cash out at least $500K (or the equivalent of that in your local currency). How would you go about doing this? Can you just go to some reliable website that buys your BTC, ETH, etc. for cash and have them deposit the 500K on your bank account? Or do need multiple deposits for such a large amount? Won't the police come busting down your door when you suddenly receive a deposit equating a decade's worth of your regular annual income (if not more)?

If you're serious consult with a tax attorney who specializes in crypto. You're not going to get a good answer here.

My government only taxes if they rule your crypto-activity to be speculative in nature. 99% of my shit is long term HODL. I did make 50 bucks flipping DOGE last week. How fucked am I?

Kek, none of what we do here is illegal, anon. You just sell your shitcoins or buttcorns on an exchange for USD/etc. and send to your bank account. You'll have to pay taxes but you just tell them it came from investments, which is the truth.

You can stake some good picks rn, grt is great, Eth, Link soon (Sergey not betray). You can loan out most major cryptos on exchanges or buy stuff like Algo which is 6-10% apy sitting in your account. If you're into stocks buy heavy dividend stocks like home depot and costco. There's tons of ways to make your money make more money, just do some research.

I can't give you an entirely accurate answer because I'm never selling but I imagine they would audit your shit once whatever financial institution you dumped your fiat into reports to the IRS that you made $500k this year working as a part-time knob polisher and that you didn't pay any taxes. They'll then garnish money from your bank account and/or send you for a few years in federal prison which is like regular prison but more exciting.
