Hey, anons, can you help me with something?
So, back a few years ago someone paid me like $80 in XMO, and I wasn't sure at the time if XMO was stable or not so I just transferred it to ETH since BTC seemed a bit unstable, and slept on it.
Well, I just restored my Exodus account on this new laptop and .4 ETH is now worth $700, and I see it's up 7% in the last 24h.
Is this a good time to sell ETH and if so what should I move it to?
Also would I have had thousands instead if I kept it in XMO? It was in like 2018 I guess.

>>27872529
Network effects are a bitch. I'd LOVE to get away from the ethereum shit network but how can I take my LINK and PNK with me? You'd need cross platform support which probably would cause the Ethereum spaghetti code to implode anyway.
16 min later 27872908 Anonymous
bitcoin sucks. literally the worst coin. other than that OP is correct.
this message brought to you by litecoin. litecoin - a cryptocurrency that actually fucking works and is fast without costing an arm and a leg. making eth enthusiasts seethe since forever.

ETH, LINK, XLM, and GRT are the only coins that I can say with confidence 'do something' or provide a service.
MAYBE ADA/XMR/BAT do something, but probably not

XMO? you mean Monero? that's XMR. It went from $25 to more than $300 each, currently it's $150 per coin.
Your best bet is to either keep that in ETH or convert it to LINK.

So I actually made more by putting it in ETH after all, nice. Hope it stays up, may as well leave it in at this point right?
I looked at the conversion price to trade out of ETH and it would have cost me like $50 because Exodus just automatically gives max gas I guess and it must be trading a lot right now given it's up so much. I started to panic when it dipped below $700 but calmed myself and remembered crypto is always unstable. Right now it's resting satisfyingly at $700.01
It looks like it's bound to dip soon, but I may as well just ride out the dip and keep it, right? ETH definitely seems like the right horse to bet on based on this unexpected 10x of my money.
By the way, what's the best marketplace type site where I can offer goods and services and get paid in XMR, but that shuns pedos and drug dealers?

Whales flipping back to ETH since it's pumping, also there's been no big news since the election case that got decided (wrongly in my opinion) in Biden's favor. The case was a shitshow though that shows exactly why it's important for votes to be anonymous and secret, and why appeals must be mandatorily allowed.
That, plus the gas fee explosion makes it expensive as fuck to stake, so it's necessarily going to be a damper. I'm saving up double my usual monthly DCA to try to save on gas.

It actually irritates me that polkadot and cardano are that high up. It's just every monkey trying to front-run the next monkey who tries to front-run the next monkey, all in a massive circlejerk.
And of course XRP/LTC/BCH are useless dead shitcoins that don't even belong in the top 100, much less the top 10. Genuinely no idea what the fuck lumens even is, other than being a ripple spinoff or something. I expect all of those coins to get pushed out of the top 10 and get replaced by DeFi coins like AAVE/UNI/etc

you should've solded last year after the bullshit bitfinex announcement. Late 2020 Jun and the original people all left, and the project is in the hands of some random corporation who just dumps their bags to make some profits off a dead shitcoin. OMG is a zombiecoin and it's completely out of the running in terms of viable L2 scaling solutions. I'd recommend selling
