Okay, the hysteria is starting to slow down and biz is becoming somewhat tolerable again. If you're new but still lurking, it means you may have the curiosity and autism required to make it. In simpler terms, you have been filtered. If you have any questions for successful oldfags, here's your chance.

I bought in at like .42 and sold at .50 for about 600 shares, well before that post. I made a profit, but it's not like traditional stocks, so is the idea to wait for 6-12 month stagnation to invest? >>27177054 Go and look for a product. Look at any prior experience, and put yourself in the shoes of someone in the industry it's aimed at and see how you would be able to incorporate it. Chances are, if you can figure out a need for it as a normie, then guaranteed people in that industry will, too. for example, Rubic: there's a lot of shilling and memes, and it does it a huge disservice. However, the team has very basic marketing right now. Their aim is a more complete version of uniswap with much cheaper fees, anonimizer, and integration with the mywish contract service as well as other networks. The lower fees alone is one aspect that would make it worth it. Or the ability to create a shitcoin and launch it on the same exchange. There's also L2/matic/etc.

To all the anons asking about the shitcoins they're holding, I'd simply say I wouldn't be caught holding anything besides BTC, ETH and of course LINK as the main holding. Diversifying is a meme if you're trying to make profit. But if I were the kind of person who wants more holdings for whatever reason, then besides those 3, I'd keep a 20% stack of defi blue chips: AAVE and SNX + whatever else you want to gamble on. You need to understand that Chainlink is CRITICAL to the adoption of smart contracts, which is where all the value in blockchain tech lies, and it's being driven by the most ruthlessly ambitious, professional and connected team in the whole space; while few outside of this place even understand the implications.

Should I sell my dogecoin at a 24% lose now or wait for some magical future where it goes back up past my .03 position? I’m not going to starve or be evicted with out this money though it was a large chunk of my savings. Would it better to dump it and put it into something else or hold?

Why should you assume that a coin would moon in case it becomes successful / gets adopted by many real world institutions? If you look at the stock market you'd see very mainstream successful companies with a stock price in the double digits.

I didn't know about link so I will definitely look that up. Do you think I should invest more in LINK the other two? Also, is it a good move to invest in 3 cryptos instead of investing more in 1? Revolut is bank app. Really successful among backpackers as it's free, their credit card is also free and you can trade your money to any currency directly via the app with interesting rates. Now, you can also purchase BTC, ETH and several other cryptos directly via the app. Link is not available though, so I have to find an other way.

When I buy from coinbase I can send my crypto to another crypto platform. With Revolut you cant do that, your crypto is stuck on revolut and can imly be sold back to Revolut. Also they charge a little extra above the actual price there so you get less for your money.

>>27181565 >Isn't it feasible if a certain crypto kept issuing more tokens and diluting to keep the token price steady/fixed, regardless of growing MC? Most coins have methods to avoid this unless their intent is to maintain a stable price. Some have a fixed supply at launch, some have to be mined at a predetermined rate which gives a reliable rate of inflation, some have methods to destroy tokens at certain times or as a percentage of each transaction to cause the supply to continually decrease. And there are coins where the dev team can literally create and sell tokens whenever they want to make some more money.

>>27182240 Generally yes, but as always do your own research. Legit projects are always very open regarding their tokenomics and will if/how/when new tokens are created/destroyed, and also how the supply is managed. It's less of a worry with established projects, but you obviously don't want to buy into a crypto where the dev team owns 90% of the supply and are just wanting for their opportunity to dump it and get rich. That aside, crypto works like everything else, and where there is a demand and a limited supply, price will rise. The use case for any given coin will affect how this works exactly; the demand might be from pure speculation on the part of buyers, or the coin might be used for trading on an exchange, or as payment for services, or whatever else. A coin with a big supply and no real use is probably not a good investment in the long term, as people who aped into DOGE and SHIBA and didn't take their profits when they should have are learning.

>>27178761 Fellow bong here. Kraken is cheapest, Binance in my opinion is easiest to use and offers a good range of shite, still pretty cheap. Coinbase charges massive transaction fees depositing fiat to buy crypto. Also don't count on coinbase processing your transaction during high volume moments. Never used Crypto.com so can't comment. Overall I'd just say Binance. Funds are SAFU. Personally wouldn't bother with stonks unless it's a product you're interested in and understand as a long term investment. For me personally I've invested in Tesla and some of ARK invests ETF's, I highly you recommend you give them a look. Tesla might be meme stock for reddit at the moment however I still believe they are closest to building fully autonomous transport which will be the paradigm shift for the whole transport industry. Don't look for pumps to sell dips to buy unless you want to sink in a dumb amount of time to become maybe a mediocre trader at best, you'll be working against bots. Invest in BTC, ETH and LINK, do so by (and I cannot stress this enough) DOLLAR COST AVERAGING in. Rarts who dump in all their savings at once ultimately panic when they see red numbers, then sell at a lost. Watch the price action of these assets before you start putting money in. Once your money is in, don't look at it for a few years. If you really need alt coins spend some time, and I mean actual time not just watching shills on youtube, reading up on Defi. DO NOT buy any small market cap shitcoins being shilled on this board.

BTW, I’m giving you like three years worth of advice rn. Reason being I recently hit a mill myself thanks to biz so I’m trying to share the love a bit. Be weary of projects that show up here and are shilled relentlessly. That doesn’t mean disregard them entirely but tread with caution. A decent strategy would be having a spreadsheet of projects shilled here and tracking their performance. What qualities stand out about those that do well? Who was involved in those that did well? You can make amazing gains right now on uniswap seigniorage scams but they’re hard to get into, they’re complicated, and you will be raped on gas fees. Also check out polka dot starter projects. You need to hold pols to play those.

i fell victim to the BSC Mainnet yesterday when trying to transfer ETH from binance to metamask I only used the BSC Mainnet because the fee was like 100x less than the other options when moving the coin from binance and it was only like $10 i was moving around, didnt see the point in spending $3 to move it. Is the idea to just accept the hefty fee to get access to the proper "mainnet"? I dont know the proper term. If i was moving like hundreds around id get that.
