Those exchanges were sketchy. Mercatox was always crashing, often offline, and Bitgrail had low withdrawal limits. Those were red flags. Many forums told to get the funds off those exchanges.
Not saying it's entirely your fault, but you have a part of responsability, especially when the online wallet (nanowallet) was easy as fuck to use.
