Do you understand the significance of this project? Its importance to the entire decentralized cryptocurrency space? It is the one project that legitimizes the pricing of all other decentralized smart contract projects. iExec IS decentralized computing power. It is the marketplace for cloud computing resources. The ability to provide computation resources for machine learning, rendering, data mining/processing, SaaS applications and web hosting. Tell me, who is using Chainlink? What is the purpose of a centralized service using a decentralized oracle? It simply provides less control over the nature of the contract, there is nothing that the rule of law will not enforce that decentralized oracles will provide - unless - your service is inherently decentralized. What is the point of “The Graph”, what the hell is it going to realistically index? DeEX transactions? Money laundering? No - the only realistic way this protocol gets high volume is if it graphs decentralized services - ones that actually matter and have an economic impact. Without iExec, or projects like it, the whole smart contract space is just one giant tulip, an over-engineered way of sending not-quite-regulated pseudo-fiat across the internet with if-then statements. The whole space, waiting to be regulated with KYC processes and succumbed to government issued currencies. iExec is DIGITAL OIL.
