there are 19 year olds on this board sitting in their rooms and getting ridiculously rich off of meme coins like sushiswap and bao finance while 50 year old boomers are working overnights at walmart

This. 20 year old here. 04/13/2000. I bought into link back in september of 2019 at 2.88. I have an 850 stack. It only took 3k or so of DCA'ing and putting money from my retail job into Link.
Still DCA'ing what little neet money I have while I wait for spring quarter. My only bills are my civic, insurance, my two credit cards (an amex plat, only have because we travel a lot, and my first card which I barely use), and some student loan debt.

Started with under $200 while unemployed, biggest single deposit over the years maybe 400. Just buy shitcoins instead of toys or bottles and you'll make it. Some bags will be mistakes, why didn't you listen?? It's ok, consider it a weighed coin flip where you win 9 times out of 10 so don't get emotional when you lose once, just keep going. Some bags will be gold but you're not sure and you will doubt yourself when it's dumping and you're reading through the 25th FUD post tonight but you will fucking hold and you will make it.

but that's years of waiting, I'm 18 and canceled the tx to buy 115 K3PR at 85 dollars after the dump, literally the bottom, would have made around 50k in around a week because I planned on holding until a new ath, I was right but I canceled the metamask order because it was pending too long because I didn't pay enough gas for instant which caused me to remember the night it was released and someone telling me to buy it at ten dollars, but right after I learned about I went to sleep and woke up to it being 250, that would have been the easiest 100k I ever made, which pissed me off and made vow to never buy the coin. Now I don't even have 10k anymore, but finally gave in and started swinging K3PR and consistently making a couple of hundred, which is nothing to be anymore, that's my horror story
