This constant linear inflation means the inflation rate will asymptotically go to zero while continuing to provide an incentive to miners to maintain the network. I have multiple boomer friends interested in Monero. It's time something is done about the glitchy GUI wallet. Mining must be removed from the GUI wallet as it messes up the install due to anti virus. Second, monerod.exe is glitchy. Every other day I have to end the task and restart the wallet because the node freezes and won't connect. 3rd sending money drains my entire wallet due to the change system but no where is this really explained. It's time for Monero to grow up and this wallet is a terrible user experience. My boomer friends won't be able to invest. Not even my gen X friend wanted to deal with installing the wallet.
