What is “honest work”? Selling poisonous food to poisoned people? Selling useless shit to useless retards? Selling things to people that then sell those things too? In this moment, the noblest trade is mastering the art of leisure. I can’t think of a smarter person than someone who figures out a way to rob the modern world blind and never work again. I can’t think of a smarter person than someone who successfully leeches of government programs, with good taste of course. The best of all trade work is aristocracy. Our working class is completely dead inside; anyone who’s spent a day’s time around them can tell you this. The “honest work”- building dollar stores, mall temples, ratholes- it takes hostage the soul of many could-be heros. If “honest work” was human, he’d be charged with many crimes one of which against nature. God sits above and mourns the construction of yet another strip mall. It’s true, I’ve seen and felt him do so. God to me sometimes feels like a close and personal friend, and he looks constantly disappointed, even in me. He mourns destruction of his lush and hungry forests for GameStop number seven thousand and Chinese buffet number whatever. Those responsible for decision like these will pay dearly for this level of sin; you’d have to be a fucking idiot to think you escape free of punishment.

if you have a million after taxes, thats about 40k in passive income each year. depending on your life styles choices, it can be enough to retire for some.
I want to start a real estate rental business and make passive rental income on properties that will appreciate over decades and retire on that. Realistically 1m would put me close to that

I’m a young doctor so I’ll be making 200-400k a year anyways after finishing residency. And plan on working because the work is badass, 40k from shitty stocks is worthless. I feel like my pitiful IRA is more likely to dump than crypto over the next 5 or so years
>>26240744
I plan on it; it’s all just in wallets right now. Really busy with stuff in life but as soon as I get a breather I’m gonna build a nice pc for staking ETH or just buy the Avado or something, and will then drake LINK when that’s available. Too paranoid to put crypto on blockfi or Celsius etc for lending right now. I got to 840k over the weekend with link peaked for a min there, so I think I’ll get to a million really soon. But again, doesn’t mean fuck all until closer to ten million imo

I and lots of my buddies in medschool got minted from link and could likely be totally financially free from it in a few years but none of us plan on stopping working. The financial freedom gives the flexibility to say fuck off to hospital admin or shit jobs and work for the sheer pleasure of it. Also plenty of specialties have hours closer to normal jobs after residency, like upper 50 low 60hrs per week compared to the perpetual ~80hr/wk of a lot of surgical attendings

You'll make it there anon. Might be a few years but you will.
I wrote crypto of as tulips in 2017. And I wasn't wrong about the craze at the time. But I was wrong to write off the underlying proposition and didn't seize the moment when the drop occurred and real price discovery happened. Over the last year before getting into crypto i made a point of understanding the fundamentals of blockchain and securing the stack, something i had to learn because I come from a finance background not a computing background. I missed opportunities to have 10x w link (my holdings are roughly 80/20 link/eth as well, albeit much smaller as i really only started adding in last 4 months). But I'm confident in the long term play and don't mind DCAing in at the top because that's my mindset. The broad crypto market is still in infancy. I think PoS coins with enterprise propositions will moon in the next 5. But I'm bearish on PoW coins, including btc.

Dermatology is the most competitive of all specialties along with plastic surgery to get into for that reason. You need higher scores and more publications to get into dermatology than neurosurgery
I’m an anesthesiology resident, so also comparatively good hours though no where near as good as derm. I hate clinic and love physiology and being THE guy when shit hits the fan in the OR or ICU so it's a good fit for me. And its shift work making it conducive to being rich from crypto and structuring a more flexible lifestyle, or at least that’s the dream/Hope

There are 2 six figure hells, lower (100-500) and upper (500+). Once you hit upper, your money will compound very fast up to 1mm. If you're entering lower 6 fig hell then your goal this bull run should be 500k

you're not in six figure hell until you didn't cash out anon. Just having an account displaying actual numbers what your coins are worth is nice. But things move so quickly in this space, before you look twice you're on suicide watch. Always take a few profits. Simple as that. Always be aware that this is one huge unregulated shitshow and for making profits, you need to dump on someone who will lose.

I would take profits on the way, but don't cash out your whole position. If it keeps going up you'll keep making money, if it goes down then you have a large amount of cash on the side now to buy back in at a lower price. You miss out on profits if it just goes straight up but when you have 500k you only need a 2x to make it

It's a far away goal but I am hopeful regardless. I went from having less than $10 to my name in December 2019 to having 85k now. Just one last push..
