Everything has a cost. Google sells your information and serves you ads based on that information. Nothing is free. But the functionality to search is really a bad description. It's the ability for api to be easily built in top of the blockchain due to queries being made easy by means of the indexers.

55 min later 26219874 Anonymous
>>26219623
The reason SinguarityNet is being built is to make such tools available to everyone and to make it uncensorable. I'm not trying to shill SingularityNet because the tools that will utterly obliterate (((The Graph))) will just be several of tens of thousands of such tools on the platform, and the people who will profit off of such tools will be principally the people who create those tools and upload them onto the network.
>i'm trying to keep people from getting wrecked from this obviously stupid idea

What's to stop Graph from incorporating such a thing? Servers still need to be run and this costs money. Creating the index is the job of a curator, not the indexer themselves. The indexer is more of a money/trust man to host servers.

> why isnt its value rising because eth is rising
/biz gets dumber every single day... for one, this thing is up over 100% in the last week... second you clearly don't understand a single thing about what it does or why it's valuable. That's okay, you're probably not a developer or programmer, so I'll give you a pass - but what graph does is make all blockchain data easily accessible at low cost which allows you to make subgraphs (apis) which will power decentralized apps. the barrier to entry for making a crypto app gets much lower with graph... you don't have to interface with 10 different apis or run an eth archive node or any of that burdensome shit.
hell, even a complete retard like yourself could probably stumble your way through making a subgraph that pulls data from other dapps in order to make your own unique dataset that could power your own dapp

the entire point of the token is to pay humans to perform the work anon. take the humans away and it all collapses. you want to plug in Narrow AI tools to do this and you think the token value survives? that's not a plan. have the developers of this project been talking about this, because they should have if they had any perspective on what is coming down the pipe. No anon, a new project will be built by AI experts who will just create a near-infinitely better product. People holding this are going to get wrecked.

Are you under the impression that this software runs on pixie dust? That the servers are free hardware? That the devops will manage itself? That the electricity and internet providers will just let you run these servers for free?
Stop being so fucking smug like you have the big secret that's gonna change crypto forever. AI and ML are the buzzwords of the decade. But at the end of the day they require data scientists to train models on lots of unlabeled data that requires manual human categorization. And even then they're highly inaccurate compared to a human. They only have the benefit of speed.

People don’t generally know this but GRT is actually the #8 most owned asset on Coinbase.
Honestly the bullish case for GRT could be a combination of two of the highest bull forces in crypto: retards and value based meme investors. The fact that this is so commonly owned is crazy, especially still just a month into its history.
I literally see GRT as a combination of LINK and XRP (memetically). A ton of crypto newbs attracted to it as the “blockchain Google” AND a ton of people who know what they’re talking about identifying it as a fundamental web3 protocol.
GRT is the perfect storm between legitimacy and memes and I honestly don’t think $25+ is totally out of the picture, as ridiculous and unjustified as that would be.

Another factor to add to that is low individual token price, which means that when we go full retard bull and people are coming on Coinbase they will just see "it's cheap" and buy in.
That plus being so available on every exchange and I think it will be one of the big normie gainers of this run.

Rule number one to any investment is never spend money you're not cool with seeing go to zero. I'm not talking about oh it's ok if this 300 dollars becomes 200 because I can still make rent. Don't get into investing thinking it's gambling and you'll 10x your money over night. 99% of people just end up losing money in the market because they think they can time the market all the way to hookers and blow on a yacht. Try your hand at crypto but try picking something you can actually believe in. Buy it and hold it for at least a year. Watch the price but don't panic sell. Every time it drops hard and you want to sell, just write it down. At the end of the year see where it is and note the times you were going to sell. 2020 was a blood bath. But I didn't sell and I came out of it 30% yoy in normie stocks.

I’m in this for the long game, I want to hodl my coins for long term growth. But I’m also scared of missing out on the next big coin so I’m dumping money into a bunch of cheap coins that I can afford big stacks of. BTC and ETH are guaranteed long-term growth, sure, but at those prices you have to already be a millionaire to make any substantial gains. It’s like trying to make big profits off Amazon or Google stocks.

It's not comparable to gambling. What everyone on this board is doing is making speculative investments. Nobody can guarantee you even 2x your money on a project thats essentially brand new. People judge a crypto based on what the project is, does the team have a figurehead to prop up and if the memes are any good. Do more research on what crypto is. More importantly do research on what decentralized finance is and why even if this all goes bust the tech being churned out has immense value. Your intuition has served your ancestors long enough for you to be reading this. It's like art. If a coin chooses you don't wimp out. If the music is playing all you have to do is dance.

You're dumb dude, I'm sorry. You are thinking of the data indexing as something that it isn't. The only things humans are really doing is configuring the inputs from various data points available on blockchain. This allows people to make daps that are decentralized without having to run an eth archive server on their own. You probably don't know what that is or how much it costs to maintain but I digress... every single dapp going forward will be built on the graph as a subgraph. You can literally make a dapp in 24 hours that would have previously taken weeks.

Why do you have to be a tripfag AND let everyone know you're a tranny/"woman" in every thread? Just stay anonymous and blend in and you won't derail the thread every time. I'm sure I talk to trannies and women all the time here and it's no problem because they're not attention whores.

Topkek. But you're damn right fren. Been in this space since 2017, this is also my take.

>Another factor to add to that is low individual token price, which means that when we go full retard bull and people are coming on Coinbase they will just see "it's cheap" and buy in
One of the reasons why I went all in GRT with literally all my savings. I'm betting on the normies. 2017 bull run will be nothing compared to the Golden Bull Run in the upcoming months. 2021 is the year where you WILL finally MAKE IT if you play your cards right.

I bought a little at .40 just for laughs. I was intending on accumulating much over time but then 2 days later we're pumpin and I have a sense of urgency.
I'm not gonna yolo but I'm definitely allocating more towards this per week.
