Why Australia has massive mental health issue ? And how it impacts country’s economy? Hypothesis: economy’s complexity is very low. Most jobs are BS in absence of startups or world-leading corporations. People just hang onto jobs to over leverage their RE portfolio. Work culture is toxic.

During Wave-1 of COVID (March), contracted COVID with scary long-tail systemic symptoms. Family members didn’t believe me as I was “functional”, doctors refused to do detailed testing when my lymphocyte count was going down rapidly. Frustrated called Men’s healthline as I was considering it to end it, (crypto was booming but). Then I meet bunch of psychologists and apparently they were all overloaded even pre-pandemic. Men’s suicide is staggeringly high and it has its economic cost and other ramifications. IMO, US has so much options, at least I can try startups, fallback to rural Montana. The whole fucking Australia has 5 cities. That’s it. Startups scene is at nascent stage. Like there is no capitalistic dreams other than gambling on some junior gold miner stocks.

Its a Chad culture, worse than the US. In the US the freaks and autists are generally molded into being useful In Australia we just chuck all the freaks and autistics on disability pension and forget about them We're a very high-tier normie/chad centric culture Which is funny because you would told its the opposite.

I'm at uni, and every 2nd post I see is a depressionpost or some attention-seeking "Really hurting rn, need some support" I think these people lost the ability to deal with reality as it comes to them and just roll with the punches. Any time something happens that goes against what they want, it's the end of the world. Maybe this is the price of a life without struggle.

Average culture of US companies (tech as it’s my sector) is heaps better than average Aussi ones. Why is that ? there's definitely a taboo on taking yourself too seriously in Australia. It's like we never really developed out of penal colony mentality. It feels like aimlessness that creates a political vacuum taken advantage of by commies. Largest in ground gold reserves Largest fresh water basin in the world Saudi arabia supplies of oil cut taxes, stop debasement and let the domestic population bubble. Replace the international service economy with a domestic one and cut red tape on innovation in all industry. Do not allow wealth to leave the country further incentivize military service The government response to covid is absolute nonsense there's no scientific evidence lockdowns, quarantine, contact tracing, masks etc reduce mortality from respiratory illness. How can anything get better after this precedent they're already priming the public for leveraging their freedom against to take vaccinations. We have no bill of rights
