I see a lot of heavy monero holders here. I understand the desire of privacy, but don’t you think it’s a bad investment? Seems like big money would avoid it. Especially since the irs put out a bounty to break it. Or y’all thinking digital Swiss bank, nobody will ever break it. Big money will go there to avoid taxes?

Tldr; why do you think monero is a good investment

>>26004309 Frankly Monero is one of the worst investments. It's an overpriced fork of Bytecoin that can be tracked. If you haven't upgraded your Monero to 0xMonero yet, you need to get on it.

>>26004309 I'm not saying Monero is bad, but I don't think it's something normies will buy and it certainly isn't something the big boys will buy.

>>26004987 That’s what I think too. Seems like a bad investment, but that doesn’t make it bad. I would definitely use it if I desired privacy in transactions. I just don’t get the whole monero portfolios I see on here

>>26004309 I don't hold any monero but I think of it kinda like gold/bearer bonds. BTC holders advertise their coin as "digital gold" except their transactions are traceable/trackable, so it's more like digital banking...
