Thank you for fighting for our country. If you thought you did the right thing, so be it. I don't agree much with the military, but it was your choice. Hope you healed up okay.

>>425602320 As odd as this sounds, I had a drinking buddy who was in vietnam. He said if you got hit and it hurt, that's a good thing. If you got hit and went down but didn't feel a lot of pain, you were royally fucked.

So I have a question I've been meaning to ask. There was recently a murder case in Georgia involving some vets and an anti-government plot: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-14/soldier-crime-wave-in-u-s-seen-fueled-by-army-ignoring-dist ress.html While these are obviously some small time doofuses run amok, a lot of my friends/acquaintances who spent time in the military come back with some fairly libertarian ideologies. They are particularly disillusioned with how police treat them. Though this case is an outlier, is there a strong undercurrent of hostility towards larger, more totalitarian government in vets/servicemen?

>>425604363 absofuckinglutely. and your friends are on to something bro. being a combat vet automatically puts you on a potential threat list. nothings more dangerous than someone you trained to kill.

>>425605414 yeah that was probably 90% of our contact PKMs and RPks for fucking days. i guess they dropped a bomb on the fucker who shot me, or so i was told, so i don't have proof on this.. but i think the fucker who shot me was probably a chechen trained fighter or some shit. he used an AK74 or something like it, since it was a 5.45 round. never heard of Taliban using those, big in eastern europe jihady holes though.
